All those miles, and nothing to show for it.
(400,000 kms/ 20 years)
What a long strange trip it's been.
Seems like I just uncrated the sucka yesterday.
Did you ever have a dream where you're running and running but not getting anywhere?

Since we never have seen a pic of this bike dirty, we must asume it has never been run.

All that damage was just fake.

(Somebody's got stir the pot.)

Didn't you just put some new main bearings in your bike? How did that work out?

I'm impressed you stopped for the picture when it was still at all zeros.

New con rod big end bearings 2 weeks ago at 399,000kms.

I replaced the front main bearing at 370,000, the rear one (and the crank) is still original.
Still original pistons and cylinders too.
The rings and T-chain were replaced (preventative, no failures) at 150,000 kms and again at 300,000 kms.
No smoke, oil consumption 1L/5000kms, same as always.
Lots and lots of very hot weather WOT beat testing this week, so far so good.
It literally sounds and runs BETTER than new.
There seems to be no end in sight for this tractor's heart.

I couldn't park it for the night with (3)99,997, so I went around the block a few more times and took a pic.
I've only put on about 10,000kms so far this summer, all within 500 kms of home.
No time, well actually no cash, for long trips.

Please keep that in mind if its remains ever appear on E-Bay;
I'll be dead so I won't care either way.

Hey, it's the only part on the dang bike that self-renews at regular intervals (and for free).
A newer type 6 digit odometer might boost my street-cred, but it would decrease the insurance evaluation if I were in a 'not-at-fault' accident. (I only have one-way coverage).
As things stand, all my crashes, past and future, were and will be MY fault so I'm not covered anyway..

Hey dude -
If you just clean that thing up a little, it will look pretty good.
