New style heated vest

I love riding in the cold as long as I have a heated vest and grips. I also want reduce the amount of gear I take along.
I wonder if this is the answer. Do you think it could work? No affiliation!

Oh, I disagree. A huge majority of the cold comes from the front (when you're moving), so I'll bet it's at least 2/3's as good as a full vest. It's also 2/3's of the wattage of their full vest, while being less than 1/2 the price. It's likely that their full vest (45 watts) sends 30 watts to the front and 15 to the back.
The key is providing actual heat to your core, and it's going to do that. For the price, I can't see how you can go wrong.

I've got a full jacket-liner, and the parts of the sleeves where there aren't as many wires make for some chilly feelings. I don't think that I'd be good with the bib.

I'm with Rob on this – wrap the core to stay warm.
First, consider this:
1. A tank bag blocks much of the cold air-blast to the chest.
2. A fairing can about eliminate that blast by creating a dead-air envelope.
... And even with both of these advantages – riding can get damn COLD !
If you do not believe that your back gets (at least nearly) the cold-blast that your chest does,
try this experiment on an unfaired mc.
Ride with a T-shirt that is not tucked into your trousers,
notice that the air-flow at road speed will actually lift the back of that T-shirt to a place just above your kidneys,
and FEEL the draft that it creates there.
Air will steal heat from the body proportional to it's velocity !
