Southeast Oz gathering

I've been talking to DucatiPete and ME109 about an early summer ride. We three weren't able to make it to the Far Cairn shindig for various mechanical reasons. Now we are mobile again and keen to get out there, and Jeff has suggested the Geehi hut as a likely place. Pete has suggested Friday 7 / Saturday 8 December as a suitable time. That is just 11 sleeps away, so not much notice. Or to put it another way, that is a whole 11 sleeps away, so plenty of notice.
We're keen and committed and hope that some more Oz Boxerworkers will be inspired to escape for a celebration of Boxer goodness, the joy of narrow and twisty mountain roads, stimulating (possibly slightly drunken) conversation and (need I say it?) self-indulgence.
So please chime in with an affirmative or reasonable excuse. See yez there.

Me and me fishin' pole are in.
Maybe...........we could coax a lurkin' lurker to join us?
We don't bite much.
Come on lurkers, lurker on up to Geehi. It's a top spot on the Swampy Plains river via kanchoban or Thredbo.

Excellent spot Geehi.
Not sure if I'll make it but won't rule it out either.

Charlie!
What a brilliant idea!
At this distance, there's quite a possibility that I'll be a starter!..

Gidday Fellas,
Sorry boxerworkerer's, very tempted indeed to hit the high country in the old Chevy, lay the ears back and get the wind through my greying locks for a xmas get together and also a good chance to test the "carter" carbie out at a higher than normal altitudes, but unfortunately that is the weekend of my lovely wife's work Xmas party/bbq/fancydress/pissup/workbreakup/socialfuntction (btw we're going as Sonny & Cher) so with the costumes made and ready to go I think one cannot pull out of the gathering now, plus her boss will put on a shit hot show, I've already planned for a very quiet Sunday, so one must attend.
Another thing to consider would be the fact that the furthest I have driven my old banger in one weekend is a total of 195kms, but I will get up there one day again...
Enjoy yourselves and ride safely..

Thanks for replies, gents.
So Jeff's bringing his pole,
Steve is a maybe,
Doug is an almost definite,
She'llbe is nursing his smeared big end (begone, damned image).
Bob is heading north (thanks for the email, Bob).
Grant is dressing up - possibly cross dressing - he wasn't at all clear about who is going to be Cher. That's a great pic of Monty, Grant.
And I'm putting my camping gear into little heaps and contemplating more bag making. Gotta keep the 'bag man' reputation alive.
And yes, it would be great to meet some BoxerLurkers too.
Jeff, would it be possible for you to publish a map of the Geehi Hut location?

I wanted to do that last night Charlie but the link option appears to be gone???
Rob Valdez might have to do it. He's good at those things.
