$210 spent on Bing kit and this is all i got?

I'm a bit baffled... i ordered a 'complete' rebuild kit from Bing and there are a bunch of small bits that i was sure would get replaced.
Things like the idle mixture spring, new idle mix screw, new 'Venturi', the pre-atomizer, etc...
Attached is a photo of what I got.
It sure doesn't feel like $210 worth of stuff.
Can somebody please confirm this is all they sell in a rebuild kit? i am wondering if I should order the missing parts from BMW so i have a piece of mind... or clean the old parts as best I can.

You basically got kit #6 from Bing's website. I could imagine that it's expensive. I think the white floats are really getting up there these days. I've never gotten them from the dealer but I have heard that it is cheaper...by how much, I don't know.

Yeah, it's awful these days the prices from Bing. Last month I ordered for my RS, two basic gasket sets, two needle jets and jet needles, two float needles, and one set of floats. Came to about 180 bucks. Just a guess here but would say that's double from the early 2000's.
We're screwed since they're the only supplier.

Yeah, that's expensive, considering it's from a supplier. I get my basic rebuild kits from here:
http://www.EUBMW.com and the rest from Hucky's. I didn't do the math, but it's considerably less that way. They sent you the wear items, idle and main jets don't wear.

Motobins
two gasket sets = 2 choke gaskets + two float bowl gaskets UKP5
two needle jets ukp8
two jet needles ukp9.40
float needle ukp7.85
float pair ukp28
genuine diaphragms ukp x 2 ukp31
bunch of tiny o-rings ukp8
ukp96.25. post for a small packet would be neglible. Say ukp110 delivered. USD176
Still seems a lot for a bunch o' small stuff.
Motorworks in the uk are about the same, but they won't send to NA.
For us Ozzies..

Thanks for the heads up

At Munich's rebuild prices I could buy a bare set of Jetted Mikunis ,alter the existing throttle cables, buy two or three inches of 2' fuel hose to connect up to the air intake tubes, and still have a few bucks left over for a dynotune.
My local dyno is also the Mikuni agent so he can usually source used parts or give a credit for your bits.
Mikuni spares are are even more expensive than Bing and it is cheaper to buy a jetted new carb than try to replace everything on a secondhand one.
I just replaced the needles, needle jets, diaphragms and needle jet and mixture screw O rings on the Bings on my G/S, and it restored the mileage to where it should have been, another 60 miles from a tankfull, which saves $8- each fill.
At Motobins prices it wont take long to pay for itself.

Rebuilt a pair of 32mm Bings using Motobins as a supplier EXCEPT I bought authentic Bing diaphragms. Have read too many concerns about the quality of off-brand diaphragms.

Me too, but I've run off-brand diaphragms for nearly twenty years. no problemo on my 40mm.
