Lowering the footpegs on a R100GS

Post by DonW »

Howdy all, just got back from a 1500 mile ride on the GS. All was great- newly rebuilt tranny was flawless, engine ran great, not a drop of oil leaked or burned, and my "custom" seat (cut up the foam myself and covered with sheepskin) kept my ass comfortable and cool. Whoopee!

Airhead Central at the BMW rally was also great. Good to see some of you guys!

The one thing that I think I need to do to increase comfort is lower the footpegs a bit. I'm 6'2", long legs, and old knees. I see different options to lower (and move slightly forward) the pegs by 1-2". Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Don
