Another Oz get together

As Steve said in the Events section, perhaps we should move the idea to motorcycleing. Tallbingo was a blast but is now in the past. What wil we do now? One idea is to have a gathering of the NSW mob with anyone else that wants to come from Mexico or other parts.I'd like to have a gathering on the second weekend of May in Nimbin, northern New South Wales, at my place. But that's to far away and we need something this spring. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Bellingen has been mentioned, I'll just have to ride back and forth from my place to rack up any kind of distance!!!!

Excellent notion, She’llbe. This Mexican would very much like to take part. Bellingen is a little bit far for me, though certainly a great destination. Here is another pissabolity –

It’s about 50kms inland from Port Macquarie on the Oxley Highway. The stretch of that road between Walcha and Wauchope is one of the legendary motorcycling roads. It’s a decent ride from Nimbin too, so you won’t have to go back and forth too many times.
I’ll dig out some more spots later ….

Sorry to say lads, but I'm out 'til well after Xmas. I have one annual weekender coming up and that'll have me done for the year for "getaways".

I'm keen to be there, Will be available from about the 5th Nov, where ever.
For future reference I found a suitably furnished site just east of Sofala.

Now that looks like a very comfortable destination, Bob. A long way for She'llbe and Sibbo, but very convenient for the Dubbo crew and Ross and not too far for me.

Well you've got me, as long as it's manageable over a weekend with perhaps another day... either Friday or Monday..
It's superb weather atm and I have been enjoying riding the 30kms down the valley to Wodonga as often as possible..
Bert is running particularly sweetly after all that crap about the battery and starter...
Though I have now come fully to terms with the "Kill Switch"... a new fangled thang that tripped me up last week when the bike went completely dead for no obvious reason and caused another foray in Mr Clymer and much muttering!...and " told you it was a bomb!.. from madam .. but then it dawned.... the Kill Switcg!!!... activated by a sloppily placed tank bag during getting out of the garage manouvres!..
When I last seriously rode a motorbike, ya put the key into the ignition lock if it had one, jumped on the kickstart lever and away she went!!.. but I spose that was 40 years ago!
I'm dead keen to try out my Aldi tent and get some miles under me!!
