Luckily, I hate the dash, so I think I'm going to be able to resist.

Don't most bikes (that have a hybrid display) usually have the tachometer on the analog dial, and the speedometer is digital?

Oh well, doesn't matter. I can't get past the huge fuel tank/airbox. And as far as the fairing goes, when I think "RS", I think of a aerodynamic work of art. This bike doesn't do that for me.

But it IS an aerodynamic work of art. It's just not one that appeals to you.

Owning an Oilhead RS myself, I can so how, art-wise, mine sits squarely in the middle between the original and this incarnation.

I bet it's an absolute blast to ride. I'd rather have a GS though.

Me too, if for no other reason than leg-room. Of course the other reasons are good too.

It reminds me of the R more than RS.
Great bike! If money were available that would have been my choice I think. Or the 9T offcourse, but that's another bag..

Cheers!

Summary: New bike 10kg heavier but 78% more power and better ecconomy. Although they believe the new bike far superior the owner of the airhead is content with his bike.

Of course he is!
