71 R75 wiring harness

After completely disassembling my R75 and now in the process of putting back together is there a correct way to route the wiring harness and control cables. I have searched without much success. I have looked at Melville's project pics and it appears to be routed down the left side of the frame although his scoot is a newer model. Any suggestions?
