Paid to Ride a BMW!!

Post by grant81rs »

Gidday Fellas,

Sounds simple enough, sounds like fun!!

Well my signshop was offered a job a few weeks back, I submitted a quotation and we won the project and now I have to complete it by the 10 May.. to easy !!

I have to travel around to 67 hotels throughout southern Australia and to the eastern NSW boarder to complete a signage audit for TABcorp (gambling/betting company) at each one of them which involves taking 10 photos of the hotel from set angles, then the TABcorp signs, then measure the hotel fronts and veranda fascia and the each signs and describe there condition, and once complete then a rebranding of each hotel with new signage..

I have completed 17 locally which were close to my signshop and starting this Tuesday my k1100 will be my mobile desk for the next 7 days as I have about 2500kms to travel looping and criss crossing the state, ticking off the next 50 as I go!!

Do you need someone to hold the end of the tape measure?

Gidday Jeff,

SteveD has already accepted to tag along on the Orbost, Marlo, Mallacootta leg this Thursday/Friday with a overnight stay at the Mallacootta pub then a run back to Lakes Entrance, Paynesville, Swan Reach and Metung, if he get to them and the weather is good..

Sadly none in the northern parts of the state

I have had a few jobs where I could use my BMW for transport. I don't know guilt.

It's a very long tape measure I'm sure. Rendezvous Mallacoota Thursday night! Right now there's a three day window of sunshine, but temps mid teens. Ya might even be able to catch dinner!

Please stop showing us those beautiful pics. It makes me question my decision to not go visit.

Duane, that's a very bad decision. Oz is a beautiful, big island with a small island to boot.

Duane, since you prefer to not doing things these days, I think you should not not visit. Yeah, I know it's a double negative, but it works out better this way, IMO.
