Peter Egan always writes nice essays. He previously waxed poetic in one of his essay collections about his trusty Polaris Graphite R100RS. His joints may understandably prefer S-bars now.

There must be a Reynolds rack under there somewhere . . .

You can't count on a K1600GTL owner for a decent campfire, and the GS guy won't scratch up his new Jesse racks. :)
