Wouldn't the procedure be easier if the wheel was removed or is it that it easier to keep the whole assembly together. (rear wheel and swing arm)?ME 109 wrote:Leave the wheel in place.
You can pull the rear wheel and swing arm etc backwards with a rope, and tie it off somewhere.
I just use my foot to hold the wheel back.
