Good to see you are back in one piece, Mal. Well done.
I assume we are still looking at the last weekend in November for the Spring rally(?)
As to a venue, it still depends on who is attending. Mal, if you can book that weekend please let us know and we'll shift an appropriate distance northwards, somewhere roughly halfway between Melburg and Dubbo, but with mountains of course.
It would be nice to have a place with shelter of some sort, but they can be tricky to find.
Anyway, who's in?

Jolly good. Ok, I think Jeff and I might have to get together and smoke out some possibilities for a suitable venue.Mal S7 wrote:I will be there. Looking forward to it!

I think you might be right, Jeff.
Ok, just had Mal of Dubbo on the blower. He is arranging a long weekend for this one and is keen to go to the Blue Duck / Angler's Rest so he can even up the wear on his tyres. This is good news, since that is a favourite road and destination of mine and it's a good central location with fun roads from several directions. Mal also expressed the desire to do two nights there to properly relax - highly recommended behaviour.
So, let's settle on that, eh? Friday 28 - Sunday 30 November at The Duck. I'll be going up on the Friday for sure.

Sweet.
Is Mal a Friday or Monday long weekend dude?
Hey, that means riding through 200 or more k's of non stop curves with few straight sections.
I just did that the other day
Now I gotta do it again.

C'mon Jeff; there's that almost one km straight section a few kms after Mitta Mitta. I reckon you'll cope.ME 109 wrote:Sweet.

And Mal is doing the right thing - abandoning work on both Friday and Monday.
Such dedication is nothing short of exemplary.
