NOS anyone?

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

NOS anyone?

Post by SteveD »

Gold mine! I wonder if there is such a place that has BMW bits and pieces?

This was a nice line:

I don't know, but we could start a rumor about a similar cache in a mostly-forgotten old German command bunker, known only to a select few aging Berliners as the "Roundel's Roost" . . .

Cliff just died in the last month.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Until I saw Melville's post I hadn't clicked on the first link. I used to go up to the Hub back in the 80s and 90s so I could pay too much for parts for my Triumph. That was before the internet, when I found out about Rabers in California and a whole bunch of others. For the longest time I got my stuff from a guy back in Ohio named Art Xanders, who died a while back too. Much younger than Cliff, though.
