Unfortunately I'm out. :(
I've messed up my dates. I have some friends coming from Qld for a met up with a bunch of us on Saturday. Somehow I thought it was the following w/e. Bugger. I blame the night shifts for my disorientation.

You didn't see Crocodile Dundee 2?

Right, who's going to eat oysters at Picnic Point this weekend? I'm going to make inquiries through the week to ensure we/I get some.
If you miss out, you might be able to lick my empty shells.
On Saturday I'm going to fish the oyster estuary for a flathead or bream.
Weather's going to be shit too. 26, 27, 28c
Yes, it's a three day weekend.

Jeff, I might try an ride up to Albury to collect those cases next week. Is there any day that suits you best?
I'd ride the RS and just attach the panniers.

Sorry Steve, I've missed a few opportunities to take them to Kens as I suggested. I'll be about for sure next week. Any day should be ok.
I always remember when I see them.

Jeff, a dozen oysters for me please.

Reminded of the old joke about the bloke who goes back to the fishmonger to complain about the oysters he bought. He and his girlfriend had shared a dozen oysters for their reputed aphrodisiac properties and he wanted his money back because two of them didn't work.

Gidday fellas,

Jeff save me a flathead tail, you can have the other end.

I plan on getting away about 7.30am, I may swing through Lakes Entrance and admire the fishing fleeting on the jetties for a minute or 2, grab a coffee and then continue along my merry way.

Charlie, in regards to getting into the camp site, I googled the map at the corner/turnoff of the Bermi/Tartha road and then street viewed the dirt track into the Wapengo Rocks Oyster farm, street view ended here, so is this where the so called gate will be shut and someone mentioned $10 payment is required to continue on??
Who does one pay at this point or will a large bearded oyster farmer jump out from the bushes at this point and stick a shotgun up under ones helmet.... Cheers

UPDATE..... Jeff just phoned and gave me the heads up Charlie, all is good and see you there
Cheers, Grant

Just a heads up for those heading to Picnic Point this weekend, there's no fresh water so bring your own!
Unless you like salt water, there's plenty of that.

Spoke to mr oyster farmer, he'll be there until about four friday arvo. Failing getting there on time there are other oyster sheds that may have someone in attendance. Failing that I'll pack my navy seal kit and do a comando raid.
Not sure if my camo makeup is waterproof tho.

Take a hat too, it's gonna be sunny.

I'm bringing ice, too. With beer trapped in the middle.

And I'm keen to get fish in the pan, man!
