I just looked into having my '68 /2 rims re-chromed and I am looking at $500+ for the job to be done right. Not chrome that will last a few years and look like crap.
I don't think they are Weinman rims because I can't find the logo on them.
They are both 2.15B x 18.
What does the "B" mean?
Aftermarket rims can be had for cheaper... would any 40 spoke 2.15 x 18 rim work? Or is there a specific spoke pattern that I should look for?
This is a sidecar hack with a R90 engine so I am not totally interested in period correct parts.
Aftermarket /2 Rims?

Talk to the folks at Woody's Wheel Works. They should be able to set you up.

Re: Aftermarket /2 Rims?
I don't think that any rim with the 5 dents is aftermarket. It would be nice if you could find the wide rim made for hack rigs. They are very rare. I sold a good one a few years ago.jjwithers wrote:I just looked into having my '68 /2 rims re-chromed and I am looking at $500+ for the job to be done right. Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.
