Tommaselli Daytona Throttle

Post by hudson »

Hey guys - I have an 71 R75/5 and thinking of replace the OEM throttle unit on my R75/5 with the Tommaselli Daytona 2CThrottle- less fuss, no grease, etc. It fits 22mm (7/8) bars. It doesn't appear that the cables would have to be changed, but perhaps I am mistaken. Has anyone switched over? Any problems, any input? Thanks.

BTW, I have Mikuni carbs if that makes a difference.

22 mm= .866, 7/8 = .875. If my calculations are correct. Enough to keep perches from going on easily.

The Tommasellis will be loose on a 22mm bar.

Ok, appreciate it. Was basing it on the input from an aftermarket parts dealer. Glad to know before I ordered it. Thanks!
