Where are you michael?
ebay can be good. oem only for me, though there are cheaper alternatives, I prefer not to go cheap on an already inexpensive but vital part.

I bought some hiflo filters from Bob's BMW because they were non-hinged for an R90S and they looked like OEM, but the newer ones I've seen online don't have the wrapping around the filter material.
As the others have said, I'd go OEM on this item. Not worth risking damage to your motor.
