When I spoke to him he did say he would be interested in a winter project and also invited me up to his place so he could look over the bike and just have a conversation. I will probably drive up to his place this summer which is approx 2-3 hours away.

It's an old thread but don't forget about Air Support BMW in Kitchener (an hour from Toronto). Full service and restorations for vintage and arihead BMWs
