K75 Quirks?

Hey Guys, wondering if its normal to hear a sort of resonant vibration at low engine speeds (below 2K rpm)? It almost sounds like pinging, diesel sort of sound. I may be wrong but I'm thinking that the fuel injection is sort of crude by today's standards, and "high test" gasoline is not what it was back in 1994. I have seen a bunch of threads about this, so I assume its fairly common?
