This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Late afternoon stroll along Lake Iseo for gelato.

I always brake in corners and think how I am going to get home if I really mess up. When I get home, I wished that I hadn't used my brakes and should have ridden a bit further.

After a lovely stay -

Got up and had a nice breakfast then packed the bike up and headed to Lago Di Como via Bellagio. A 200 mile ride on 2 lane roads where i avoided the Autostrasse, through dozens of small towns, factories, more than 50 roundabouts and few stops for photos. Another epic day of riding and getting a ride.

To go across the lake from Bellagio - I chose the ferry rather than doing another 60 miles. The ferry with the bike was 4.5 euros. Now that is a bargain.

I beat my wife to her hotel... she was doing sight inspections. I took in the color and scenery.

This grande hotel welcomed me like family. Immediately it felt like home, if my home was grand and in italy and was 5 stars...
It may be one of the best places to stay in Europe and world for that matter. If you do want to come.. plan on 4 nights if you can spurge. https://www.grandhoteltremezzo.com/en/home/ I have other places to stay i can recommend. I am thinking next year - maybe September at another place on the lake. They have a full garage, a beach, a boat and a dock we can use if you join me.

Note the floating pool and my bike beside it in the parking lot. :)

The view from our room. we left the windows open and listened to the thunderstorm that approached across the lake.

KC and I walked a half block down the street and 30 meters up an alley to this great local place. The veal loin with grilled polenta was perfectly done. A local wine and lots of water matched with the dinner.

It really does take you a 2 days to decompress and later live like George Cluney.

Lake Como explorations and villa tour by boat with friends.

If I come back in next September by myself & with riding friends ... I have been offered a 2 bedroom place here on the lake for a few days.

Nice, Ted!

I like the music in the vid. Also at about 1:25 that rather large boat that goes by sure is moving out!
