Police single seat?

Post by SteveD »

Scored this, reasonably solid. The hinges are a tad rusty but also seem solid so I'll take them off and clean them up.

It came with a police RT tank so presumably a single police seat.

I haven't put too much thought into where the hinges mount yet. Any direction for me?

Cheers

It's not a front seat. Looks like it would mount over the rear fender behind a solo seat.

I have to agreee. It looks to me like someone has used the rear half of a dual seat to make an add on pillion for a police type solo seat... probably a professional upholstering job... but beyond that I wouldn't hazard a guess.

I suspected as much as it looks nuthin' like any police riders seat I've seen. That recess seems to fit the guard contour too. Here's a pic with a bike showing the tank I have and the correct riders seat.
