Hmmm, that makes perfect sense... but it can be encapsulated in the truism "Never ride beyond the distance you can see". Always ride to the principle that someone has built a brick wall across your path just out of your vision and you won't go far wrong...

He describes how I crashed while leading Stephen on our way to Ken's for one of the rallies. I went into a left turn too fast and had no clue where the exit was. Went wide into the gravel where friction was less-than-good.
