R80/7 Side Stand Spring

Hi all,

Brand new here having just acquired a 1978 R89/7. It was missing a side stand spring, which I have now bought, but I can’t work out where it fits. Could anyone share a photo of the correct location please? Thank you in advance!

There should (hopefully) be a shackle that is located on the left front engine bolt where one end of the spring attaches. The other end goes to the nipple that is mid way on the stand.

Thanks Kurt, that’s great. Found and sorted! Pliers were useless so I used a tent peg puller to get it on. Thanks again.
