G'day Ross. I see you've been getting some good advice. You may already have solid mounts on your diode board, being a later model. It'll only take a few minutes to pop the front cover off and find out. The rubber mounts issued on earlier models were problematic.FUTURE wrote:Thanks guys,
I already have fitted a voltage regulator bought from that site. Solid mount diode boards I will look at getting.
By the way, Super Cheap Auto has very good ratchet-type terminal crimpers for about $17. Buying them and getting a range of terminals (cheaper from a good auto electrician) might start you down the path of embracing the mysteries of boxer electrics.
