An AIRHEAD Rider Finishes The Iron Butt in 38th place!

Post by KenHawk »

We should all be happy that at least a few guys are still campaigning Airheads in open competition against modern machinery.

Jeremy Loveall riding a BMW R75/7 has finished the Iron Butt Rally in 38th place. He rode a total of 4,268 miles over the course of the event and scored 11,809 points.

How about that!

That is so cool! Did Joel Rappaport ride this year? He's been doing it all along, I think.

I thought they only ran the Iron Butt every two years, in the odd years? I recall Joel campainging in 2009 on his up-rated R60 turned R75.
