11/1981 R100RS.
Black wheels.
Gold wheels.
Bought from a mechanic. Never again.
Rebuilt everything since I've had it. Crashed and resprayed in the same colour scheme it was.
Currently goes like a steam train. (knocks on head)

Re: PICTURE OF YOUR BIKE/BIKES
Well first off, heres the Hot Rod. It's almost finished after all these years of frustration, stops and restarts and as of today, it has just over 3K miles on it and it's beginning to get a bit quicker and faster as the engine loosens up..
Just in case anyone is interested, it's a powder coated, braced-up R60/6 frame, NOS /6 bodywork, 78 R100RS front end, SJ Billet top camp, 82 Swing arm, 80RS?RT oil cooler engine and trans, 1000cc nikasil jugs, 9:5:1 pistons, 1977 "Big Port" heads with Black Diamond valves, Omega Ignition system, stock Bings, CC Products Cool Covers, period Lester wheels, 90's era 14mm handle bar Master Cyl, Motocicli Veloci rear sets, SS brake lines, R90S 33:11 rear drive and speedo, an R100 electronic tachometer was converted to "Whiteface" and wired in, hidden battery master switch, Ikon shocks for the moment, Odyssey PC680 Battery, /5 LWB repro seat without the grab rail, LED tail lamp, New Krauser Panniers, Chromehead "Cream" paint with dark-brown and orange pin stripes and lots of polished SS fasteners.
Heres the tired 1976 R90/6 that I started with:
The modified frame:
This s the first version of the bike in August 2008 with the R90 engine:
It took another year but after suing the mechanic over the engine build, the bike was further modified and had it's current 1000CC engine and most of the other accessories installed:
During the road test on my favorite hill, two miles from home:
HWY-1 at the Pacific Ocean, near the end of a 12 hour days ride on the way home from Redmond OR.
