So it would be a 3 cylinder 750cc ? Why the hell didn't BMW go into production ? It would have been smooth as silk!

It would need petcocks on the lower 2 cylinder heads to drain the oil after sitting for a while.

I guess it could have been rotated 60 degrees then only one pot would be down but it wouldn't be much of a problem unless the engine was well worn, a bit like leaving a boxer on it's side stand too long .
