As the motorcycle I often ride will break any speed limit in my country in first gear, it behooves me to be a stealthy as possible because I would like to retain my driving privileges. So for me the suit looks just fine. Knowing with absolute certainty that I am invisible to all road users, prevents problems that high conspicuity riders get themselves get into by assuming they are visible. I always expect a high powered sport bike to attempt to pass me in my lane on my right at anytime.

Oddly enough, a normal 'stitch is about $870, so less than the one with fewer stuff on it.

I remember B. Jan advocated the yellow helmet, that way you can take it off when you go someplace and not look like a dork. My helmet is white. I don't know, it's just that I ride in so much fog and rain that when it's daylight at all, I want to do what I can to let the headsuptheirasses drivers see me. I know I can't count on it, but it might help my odds.

It is impossible to argue that hi vis will not increase your overall chances of survival.

Let me try. From what I've seen some high viz riders have an attitude of Invincibility that I see in how they behave in intersections and general road behavior. I'm not saying that improving your conspicuity isn't a good thing for saftey. I am saying some riders think that since they are more visible they can let down their guard. I've seen the behavior. ABS brakes save a lot of lives as well but can cause accidents. Space cushion is the best survival technique IMO. If you are not there they can't hurt you.

Hi viz riders go down while black riders stay up. And vice versa.

He is also saying squids on high powered sport bikes don't have any control over their right hand either.

Apparently, riding a high powered sport bike causes one to lose control of their right hand.

Nonetheless, if you try to make yourself more visible, as well as ride like you are invisible and surrounded by drunks, it can only increase your chances of survival.

I have supreme control over my right hand. It's what I'm best at. I choose to ignore speeding limits because they have been set to the lowest common denominator on the road. What would be more convoluted logic is to buy a motorcycle with great performance and not use it.

Yea and your chance of losing your license. Are you telling me you have a new GS1200 and you ride within the law?
Who needs 110 hp to go 60?
