I'd check myself out. But if I am already batty then checking myself out wouldn't tell me a damn thing!

What I'd have to do is find a known sane person to do the checking. He shouldn't be hard to recognize. I hear he rides a polka dotted unicorn.

seriously, what? I've never seen any message board say, with any level of technical or lay language, what caused any hick-up.

I doubt there is anybody in the world who knows what happened, except possibly Kelley, the web mistress. And I reckon that she simply saw what the software problem was and fixed it. To date I believe she has received little money for her invaluable services which have beem more of a favor than a bought and paid for service call.

As for the owner of this board, I reckon that it is a labor of love for him. Certainly there is no money in it for him. Note the lack of advertisements and other such money generating schemes.
