Good to see so many peeps already in the "party mode".

Now, if we could just entice several of the local Kiamichi Wood Nymphs to attend... and they bring beer...

Damn poor timing - Cabin Available

Post by bbelk »

I was washing the bike a few minutes ago and got the call that I have to go to Baton Rouge and not Oklahoma.

Anyway - I have reservations for this really nice cabin at the RV park next to the rally. I snatched up Rob's when he bailed, and now I am bailing. If someone wants it, please post here ASAP. Otherwise, I will cancel my reservations in the morning.

I will miss you guys this trip. I really really wanted to be there.

That's lame Brad, sorry to hear it.

Rob should "unbail" IMO then take his original reservation for the cabin.

It's not too late Rob!

They don't even need to bring beer... just their scantily clad selves.

Kiamichi Wood Nymphs

Post by Ken in Oklahoma »

The good news is that the Kiamich Wood Nymphs will be watching. Generaly speaking they are looking for the sensitivity, good nature, intelligence, caring, and similar such attributed men; in other words attributes that are often associated with airhead riders or or their ilk. The trouble for those who would be their frinds is that they are very discerning about who they show themselves to. So far as I know I'm the only such person they have chosen for companionship.

Frankly, I really do hope they like some of y'all. I could use just a bit of relief; not that I'm complaining mind you. But the Nymphs are demanding. And it's so hard to turn down their invitations. That is why the rally attendees have seen very little improvement on my place from year to year. I don't blame myself really. Who can turn down nymph made bread, spread with real butter, and a pint of their lovely ale to wash it down. Plus the nymphs are so lovely and friendly, so scantily clad, and approchable. For me the decisions I made are best overall, but I would like to get a little more done on my place here. If they paid me a little less attention I would have a park like lawn for y'all to camp on and . . . . . . . uh, 'scuse me. Gotta go. I hear the nymphs calling for me.

Brad I am so sorry to hear that. Commitment and responsibility, while noble attributes, can sure screw up a good time.

As if any other aspect of their driving around was free from gobment input. (roads, cops, seat belts, airbags, brakes that work and clean air, etc.)

There are probably other good reasons to not like Ethanol policies such as using up prehistoric water resources to grow corn to burn in cars.

I finally gave up on those nice braided fuel lines from BMW suppliers. They are not Ethanol proof. Perhaps this is why we are talking about Ethanol anyway - but I missed that part of the conversation.
my reasons for being anti-ethanol are selfish, the car gets about 4mpg less, truck gets about 5mpg less the K75 gets 8 mpg less and runs like crap, the owners manual on the lawan mower and chainsaw says not to use it. But the corn seed company needs the business
