I ran this fairing;

The rounded pinstripes help take the square lines out of it. It is much wider at the base, which takes away from the frontal looks, but adds to some wind protection for the body.

Not sure if it will fit over the 8" headlight.

I have seen one on an 8 " headlight but there has to be a slight addition. The inside flange pushes up against the glass and is part of the mounting. Get a small, SMALL, diameter rubber air hose and slit it lengthwise. It can be slipped over the fairings flange and act like a gasket against the glass. The furnished mount brackets can still go to the headlight mounts. (Some models may be too cluttered to allow the brackets a straight shot to the headlightt bolts.)
Garnets photos show how clean a $79 fairing can be. At least, that's what mine cost.
