Boy, you do like to think ahead, Steve. I'm in.
Accommodations are not as luxurious as the Geehi Hut - the dance floor is a bit rough and the staff are surly, but I'm sure we'll manage. With any luck we'll have refrigeration.

Cheers Steve. Sounds like just the thing to look forward to at the far end of a long hot Summer.
Only other event i might get away to is the Karuah River (BMW) Rally, its near Dungog NSW in February. Guaranteed no snow.

sounds good (not really fond of the white stuff), may give it a crack it other (boring) things permit.

otherwise, that there shack in the snow will be pencilled in... (I vote no white stuff, if there's an option)

G'day Pete. Good to read you.
I might just make it to the Karuah River rally too. The riding is good up there and it'll be a good opportunity to catch up with the daughter and grandkids on the central coast.

ps: Note to self: Must get some decent hot-weather riding gear.

Is that a squid Mal?

Nothing like riding in Australia in mid February. Between the hours of 2am and 4.30 am.
I'm in wherever it is.

Gidday Pete, keep on keepin' on man.

Last time I came down off the tableland (Tenterfield ) to the coast it went from a happy 20C to 38C at bloody Casino. I found a slightly open at the bottom and top Dririder jacket with a 250mm squirt of water onto my Tee shirt every 30 minutes was OK, cool enough to be tolerable , maybe almost fun.

I like wet tee shirts .

You betcha, Mal. That's a truly (um) exciting colour, and the fringing adds a definite (er) sophistication and flair.
Leave it with me. I'll order the leather and notions immediately.
Did you know that sewing accessories are called 'notions'? I didn't until recently. I like the term.

Hi all
I usually get to Karuah, a few other airheads from up north are talking of going as well.

Definately no snow but it is well known for being a bit wet at times.
