Rally fork shortage.

Post by Ken in Oklahoma »

Sorry about the inappropriate post. I've actually posted on the Events board, but I'm not sure how many attendees will be reading it there.

I screwed up on my inventory. I have no plastic forks. So if you haven't left yet and you are going by a store I could use about 50 to 100 plastic forks.

This isn't a critical situation. I have some silverware forks. Y'all will just have to turn them in when you're done and I'll run them through the dishwasher.

Failing that, the first person going to Mena will be requested to fetch some back from Wal Mart.

I know. Actually I tried to think of a way to work "forked" into the post, but I would have had to force it. It's a trickey business, word play is. (I learned that from Airbear.)

I think I made the right decision.

Ken

Edited to get rid of an extra "have" in the second sentence, before some wise ass calls me on it and hurts my feelings.

Edited again to change "first sentence" above to "second sentence", before some wise ass calls me on it and hurts my feelings.

Damit Ken, you've ruined yet another fantasy about coming to Oklahoma, where the wood nymphs feed you by hand.
Any and all disclaimers may apply

You know ZM, I would have thought that about the last thing you would have been interested in about the wood nymphs is whether or not they feed their special friends by hand.

Of course it's entirely possible that "feed by hand" is a code phrase that the young people are using nowadays, and I haven't caught on to it yet.
