I am a "headcase," "neurotic," and have "self esteem issues." People who need to be right suffer from these problems. People who put people on ignore when their errors are pointed out, however, do not. Blocking the posts of the people who point out your errors is also, apparently, not suffering from a need to be right.

That glass house appears to be a bit of a mansion.

Putting people on ignore and then calling them names after you've made sure you don't even have to see their responses? I don't even have good name for that one.

I've got some bad ones, but no good ones.

Ken, regardless of PITA's response to your question, it seems fairly self-evident to me that someone who quickly decides who they will refuse to listen to is operating antithetically to your described view of the forum. Your question, while framed in a wonderfully gentle and reasonable way, is, I believe, at it's roots: rhetorical.

Our people are talking with the ADV people. We're going to re-open the portal and attempt to get him to pass back through.
I am aware of the exact location of the portal as I saw him come through. As a result I've been placed in the witness protection program.
I think it safe to assume there will be some resistance from the other side tho', when we try to push him back.

Gentlemen, we cannot underestimate the importance of this mission.

Aren't there more of them on the other side of the portal? I believe we will need a distraction.

Only the banished one.

Perhaps we can create a link from the ignore button to the portal?
Bait. We need bait.
 We could install a diode in the link! And then there will be no choice other than proceed through the portal.
Gentlemen, we have until sunday.

Should we go with a flux attenuator or chromatic suppression diode? And how many megarads should we specify? We're only going to have one chance. We've got to get this right.

I think we should set up a command room down in area 51. He'll never find us there.
We'll need a codeword as well.
Ooh, and an operation name. Any ideas?

I'm thinking Rose Garden for a code word, or we can put in a hyphen if it really has to be one word. The name is so innocuous that nobody will suspect a thing. Plus we'll put on disguises as decrepit little old ladies and we'll have our weapons hidden in our watering cans.

Do you think we should wear matching bonnets so we can find each other if we get separated?

For an operation name I'm thinking Operation Market Garden. I know that was used in WWII, but that's the beauty of it. They'll think we're just a bunch of dumb asses screwing around.

More like commandeering the thread Ken. Some things are necessary in wartime.

I'm thinking along these lines for the disguises. Whaddya reckon?
Rose Garden will be perfect for a codeword.
