Very nice. And when the seller spends a paragraph telling you the details of the correct valve stems, the pricing expectations are likely to be Barber-esque. :ugeek:

Wow!

I didn't spot anything wrong, not that I'm all that knowledgeable about R90S bikes. I'm guessing the bike will sell for something above 20K $, though I don't really know what the going rate might be. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for.

The guy did a good job with pics and narrative. I didn't spot anything "off" in that either.

I'm guessing that whoever buys it will ride it little and show it a lot.

I wasn't looking too hard but noticed that the petcocks are not original...they're the 90 degree kind rather than going straight down to the carbs.

Hey kaput, your first post I see. Welcome to the forum. How about telling us a bit about yourself?

Less than 23 hours to go, bid up to $14,900 and still hasn't made reserve! http://www.ebay.com/itm/111260802971

I like it. It's extremely nice but it's not pristine if you look closely. Not sure what the seller meant when he said it had "cloissone" emblems. /6 bikes had stick-on emblems and yet the emblems on this bike don't quite look stick-on. But they're not screw-on, either. I don't think it was a $20k R90S. The $14.9K bid may have been as much as he's likely to see, IMO.
