There's a one owner 1981 R100RS for sale in Queensland, Australia on FleaBay, but I believe the owner's sales techniques may not be fair or according to FleaBay regulations.
Check out the reflection in the tank and voice your opinion!

Unfair sales technique for '81 R100RS???
Re: Unfair sales technique for '81 R100RS???
It seems to be working---it's got 53 watchers. Looks like an original top end. Obviously, there's no reserve on that one.

I wonder if those jugs are factory or aftermarket.

It can't be the only RS in Aussie and the paint is not original!
But a good way to get watchers

My thoughts exactly Chas. The 'smoke' on the tank looks like it was done with a 4" brush.chasbmw wrote:......... and the paint is not original!

Maybe Chuey rethinks Daytona Orange.
Re: Unfair sales technique for '81 R100RS???
That's a correct '81 red smoke RS paint scheme. It's the same un-pinstriped pattern as the "Polaris gray" smoke that was the alternative scheme. It's not as compelling as the earlier red smoke S models, but it's period-correct. It's not badly faded, and that's the only indication that it might not be factory-original.

Who cares? Tell her to take more pictures of shiny reflective surfaces with less distortion.
