Re: 2014 Autumn in Oz.
G'day beemerblokesters,
I know there's been a fair bit of discussion re which w/end for this gathering... sorry, but obviously i've been too slack/etc to contribute.
Now, i see Charlie has gone in to bat on my behalf to put forward my preferred dates, thanks Chas!
As he says the w/end of the 10-11 is a work one for me - the actual w/end plus days either side.
Unfortunately, i used up most of my leave last year so have to be pretty frugal with how i take days any off these days, eg i had to take off 4 days for last w/end's Pinch River Rally. I'd have preferred either the w/end before or after the 10-11th, but no matter, I'll still try and swing time off for the 3-4th (ie swaps, sick leave, etc).
Not to worry, not everyone can attend all these gatherings, as we well know - we've all got our commitments.
Thanks for your consideration, guys.
Prolly gonna snow anyhow...
pete
(PS: Bloody good run up to the snowy for the Pinch, boomin' marvelous!)

Oh. So that's where The Pogues got the title for that album. Churchill.

Yep Ed - that'd be it. Plagiarising bastards.
Ok, so the Cabramurra run is on 9, 10, 11 May.
Pete, thanks for chiming in. I hope you can swing things to make it.
Got any pics to add for the Pinch River / Island Bend run? I posted a few back on page 6 (I think).

Hi folks
Yes I've been out of the loop as well. Mal did remind me of the mountains run but not this time. Heading down to Melbourne for the Pies/Blues clash at the G on the 2nd of May and life pretty busy after that. Talked with Mal re: a ride up north NSW in winter to get away from Orange cold. Guzzi Bill says the Emmaville pub is a beaut.
BTW the new rotor working a treat and charging at 13.9.
Have a great ride in May.

I'm sorry to have to write this, but unless I can manipulate a few things it appears I'm out of either weekend. ...despite best efforts with roster requests. I'll have a crack at re-organising for the 10th but it's in the hands of others I'm afraid.
Cheers, Steve

That's a proper bugger, Steve. Good luck with the manipulations. (Don't forget the surgical gloves.)SteveD wrote:I'm sorry to have to write this, but unless I can manipulate a few things it appears I'm out of either weekend. ...despite best efforts with roster requests. I communicated yesterday with Pete and Bob. Both are good for the weekend of the 10th. Jeff's good too, and will prolly engage the enthusiasm of the Benalla/Beechworth mob. Hans is in, provided he can deal with a few little matters with the R90. And I think Mal's in, too. You there, Mal?
Any others?
