Gee Duane, those people should have made fun of you. They were undoubtably offended by your lack of respect for the marvelous machine crafted by God and BMW, working together in concert. You had it coming. You were being very disrespectful.

And it would appear that, over the years, you haven't gotten any better either.

Talk about disrespect, Ken said, "..........machine crafted by God and BMW.........." That is at the very least redundant and probably worse.

I try hard to not recover. I well knew that I was making that decision......... to not recover.

It was not idling. I had the cruise control on
running the bike a bit faster on the stand.

+1 on probably worse. Talking about God and BMW like that in the same breath, I could easily make an ash out of myself. That is, get struck by a bolt of lightning.

Hmmm, I wonder where I can find a red rubber union suit in my size...........

One can only do that for a few minutes before running a risk of over heating.

While on the heating aspect - what's the drill for using a Twinmax or other carb balancer? Put a box fan in front or do you do it while riding?
