This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

My paint is polaris 507. Least I think it's called polaris. Is graphite the same colour?

Time to replace with a new stand, or possibly make one at work Charlie.
Also gonna remove the rear balance pipe plumbing from the headers.
Steering head bearings, leave the crash bars off due to them being worn out.

Got to get it back together asap, it distresses me to see her all undone.

There's some stuff there that wants to be polished to a high sheen.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

She'll deserve a proper coming out party when she's all gussied up.

Is that sledge hammer to quick start the patina Jeff?

You could just take her for a run through the scrub instead. A few thousand ks of dirt will do it.

She'll certainly look the goods jeff, bit of a nip n tuck here n there along with a few light-handed taps with the big "easy does it" stick and it will make the world of difference, btw I'm enjoying your storage and inventory system you have going on in the background. ;)
