Summer Spring sounds good!
Spring Spring I will be away, having an extra month of Autumn.

Gidday Fellas,
Those city folk Jeff, there's no real change in their seasons, so ya gotta feel a little sorry for em as its just a dull, grey overcast hazy smog the whole year round.
Steve's clearly a little confused and outta wack, so a ride out in the crisp countryside air is definitely needed and I suggest a spring run in springtime to sort this confusion out, then once again we can set him free and guide him on his way off the mountains and back down into the hazy greyness of modern suburbia..

Yep, but at least there are thoughtfully placed warning signs every few hundred metres for people from up-over.Garnet wrote:Crikey, December is almost winter................. oh ya, you guys are all upside down.
I'm thinking a few spring runs will be required to ease the cabin fever. Brunhilde is still off the road awaiting some quality time from me along with a few bits coming from faraway places. Meanwhile I am battling with the bleakness and trying to keep the CatWarmer fed. (Firewood used to grow on trees in the olden daze).
Anyway, I'm in. Whenever. I am really keen to do the Omeo Highway now that it is sealed all the way.
Mal, you be careful over in the U S of A. I hear it's a dangerous place, with a vengeful god of ultra-right-wing persuasion. And it's full of rednecks who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground, apparently.

I should have attributed the final sentence - I stole it from the Randy Newman song Rednecks.

Where are you wanting to go Steve? The missus and I are celebrating our 29th today, going to the states to celebrate where we met in New Orleans and spend some time with my elderly parents in Alabama. I think it was David Allen Coe that sang the song with the words" A woodburning stove, no natural gas. If that ain't country, I'll kiss your ass. The only reason I got a long beard is to cover up my redneck!!!!
