Here's one for you ZM, I remember you saying how you liked the golden stainless. Not the best pic since my good camera shit itself.
I want to do the same burnished? look to my fork leg reflector replacements.
Maybe ME109 on one leg, and Lord of the Bings on the other.
Edit, I'll just pop the foto in.

Yea the stainless headers with the graphite paint, that's the look!
Any and all disclaimers may apply

It really looks stunning, Jeff, and the Spring is here and the road is beckoning..120 and the motor purring away...ME 109 wrote:Thanks Doug.dougie wrote:That's beautiful Jeff.
Only down side is now you might ride it carefully.
I always make a point of riding carefully.
It is so good to ride. Especially out on the highway with a tall 5th. 120 kph on the speedo for 4250 rpm.
Spring's a comin'
Ive just clocked up my third speeding... total 7 points and about $500 bucks over the last 2 months to add to the stash that I already had!..Now on a 1 point margin or I'm off the road or up the sudden death 6 months suspension.... so bloody unfair!!!!

I feel your pain. You're probably a fine rider. Sucks.Dougal65 wrote:It really looks stunning, Jeff, and the Spring is here and the road is beckoning..120 and the motor purring away...ME 109 wrote:Thanks Doug.dougie wrote:That's beautiful Jeff.

Indeed, he saw the sign "Fine for Speeding" and he took that as permission.ME 109 wrote:Yeah, he is. A $500 one.Zombie Master wrote: You're probably a fine rider
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
Re: The time has come
Indeed, I did!!
Last time, I got nabbed for 109kph in a 100 zone .. Ie, the open road .. Very naughty!!
You see we have a blanket default maximum speed on Australian roads of 100 mph ( that is 62 miles per hour!)
Only exception is freeways where you can really let fly.... Up to 110 kph or 69 mph!!!
I know, I've been very naughty and will really really try not to do it again sir!

Re: The time has come
That's harsh, a ticket for only 9 KPH over????? That's only 5 MPH over the limit, around here cops will usually let you get away with that. I usually figure if I'm not doing more than 10 MPH over the limit, I'm OK unless the nice, serving and protecting, has only the interests of Joe Sixpack in mind, occifer is in a bad mood that day.Dougal65 wrote:Indeed, I did!!

It's not about safety, it's about revenue.

Here in Victoria, Oz, the LEO's don't do speed camera's as much as they previously did.
They're increasingly using private contractors to randomly set up their speed cameras on the side of the road. You get a ticket in the mail. It's impossible to sweet talk the copper when the camera is busy saving your life.
The previous government allowed the planned mobile camera sites to be published in the newspaper. Current government scraped that.
The camera might get you @ 111km, they auto subtract 3-4 kph from the 111 and sting you for the designated $ @ the calculated 107-108kph. That's $185.
Here's the schedule..http://www.camerassavelives.vic.gov.au/ ... esspeeding
One good thing, if your history is reasonably clean, is that you can appeal against a fine if you meet certain conditions. My wife and I both got stung last year, and we both managed to avoid the fines by following the guidelines here...https://www.police.vic.gov.au/content.a ... t_id=10369
