I really didn't notice much about Ebor as I sailed through. I think there is a motel and a servo, but don't quote me.
Thungatti is nice, and there are lots of trees dividing up the campsites, which are of decent size. And there is a big shelter thing, with tables and electric barbeques. Quite comfy, really.
I didn't find any other decent alternatives in the area. I think prolly best to go with it, see what happens.
I'll be getting there on the Friday arvo, I reckon. No phone reception there for me (Vodaphone).

I've been given a mission by a fella at work. Collect some seeds from trees that only grow in that area; Dorrigo White Gum. Maybe we will see them over towards the coast? Maybe they look like this:-

Those trees look a bit/lot like eucalyptus grandis , rose gum or flooded gum . Is that what you're after ? My copy of Bootle, "Commercial Timbers of NSW" doesn't list a Dorrigo White Gum.
