Who sells piston rings?

Post by Boudreau »

Looking to order new rings for my stock bore '75 R90/6.

Was planning on ordering from EuroMotoElectrics but they only have 1 set available right now.

Any BMW dealer can order them for you, you might pay a bit more but you can be sure they'll fit.
Some aftermaket rings are made by OE suppliers, no problem with those, but beware of no-name (unknown) brands.

Haha, Motobins also only has one set! I'll give it a few days and see if anyone restocks

I put a set of OEM BMW rings in a '75 R90S recently.
I regret it. They have a solid oil control ring.
You're better off with a more modern 3-piece ring.
