Duanes website

https://w6rec.com

Anyone know if there are plans to protect this?

I'm getting this..

Boy, it's opening just fine for me here in USA.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Boy?
Good to read.
I still wonder what its future is?

If I try to follow the link (in Firefox) I get the error but If I type the address into a browser field (Firefox, Edge and Android), the site opens just fine. I wonder if there may be a problem with the link.

That doesn't address what can be done to protect the information on the site though...

I tried that unsuccessfully.

Curioser and curioser...

1) I have found that (in Firefox) if I try to follow the link you posted, I get the error you mention. If i then go straight to the address bar and type the address ('https//w6rec.com'), I still get the error... however... if I close the tab and open a new one, then type in the address, the site opens.

2) I have logged now logged into the forum on Edge, Chrome and Android and the link works perfectly on each of them. Guess it must be a 'Firefox' issue, possibly with the forum software...

Link works fine for me with Edge.

Some of the updates on Duane's site are as recent as Sept 23 so I can't imagine he would still be putting the effort in if there were no plans to have someone continue hosting it.

I got access to it via https://w6rec.com/duane/bmw/lock/index.htm

Then, by deleting the address back to and after .com, I then had access to the homepage.

That link goes to his old page, which I think he still has up but running in the background.
