Hi all. Sorry I’m new to forums in general so I may be putting this in the wrong place or asking a question that has been answered elsewhere.
I have a 2014 R1200RT with about 25k on the clock I have noticed that the clutch bite point moves out to near the end of lever travel once the bike after riding for about 10 minutes.
It doesn’t leave a lot of movement for feathering/riding clutch when pulling away or turn in the road etc.
Has anyone else had this as no where I’ve been seems to have any idea.
A friend has suggested getting the clutch oil changed as it is potentially 10 years old and may be getting too thin when warmed up.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: R1200RT clutch bite point moves out
Far from me to know anything about these later machines, but I read this on the MOA forum:
https://forums.bmwmoa.org/threads/2013- ... nt.100419/
What comes to mind is the hydraulic slave cylinder that needs some service. The link also mentions something about a "fix" with a thrust adapter...updated part number seems to be 21-52-8-550-147.
