What a deal!

Post by Zombie Master »

I've had two of these helmets, they are so good I barely notice I'm wearing it, and never had to replace a face shield! I just ordered one!

There are two different styles: the metallic and solid colors are listed separately and they are the same helmet. Check both! I called them they wee very helpful! I ordered a Nelson Rigg Tank bag for $52. with a "lifetime no hassel warranty!

They also have the SYMax on for $159. That's a nicer helmet yet for an equally good price. It has the flip down sun visor. The only reason I didn't get the Symax instead, is that they don't make it in a XXXL. It's a fiberglass helmet. I had one for years but it was a little snug.

Does rain still drip down the inside of the face shield? I have a pretty new IS-max (with pin-locks, no fog) that still does that in a hard rain, especially with any wind at all. Bleah.

Never had that with the SyMax or CL max. But there are a lot of variables. I know guys that are spending $500. and upwards for helmets. I've had Shuberths and other expensive lids. Sometimes technology does improve the quality of our lives!

It's for a very good modular (flip up) with the same safety rating as the $700. Helmet. I've got 4 years on the one I'm using, I've toured all the way down to Southern California and never hardly noticed wearing it. What higher praise than that?

The Shoei is a thing of beauty. But I can't even get one on my head! Is it worth 9 times as much?

ZM, how is this helmet made to fit? More for a round head or oval.

I think my head is more oval and some helmets (Nolan) seem to be too snug front to back and not side to side.

I did take the chance and ordered one.

They have many sizes still available and in all the best colors, all black.
