OK. I did something not so bright. I removed the tach and forgot to indicate the location of the three wires on to the printed circuit board. Can anyone tell me which one goes where? Thanks. The bike is an 88 R100 RT.

Hi Jeff, that must be quite a bit different than the earlier (83/84) era tachs. I looked at some taken apart instrument clusters I have and that doesn't seem to apply to them.

If what Chuey says is true, these pictures of Randy's '78 won't help much, but who knows?
