When I bought the red paint for my stripes, thay had about 2 dozen pinstriping brushes available.
This guy does it all with one brush!
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Anyone who has watched a good pinstriper knows how simple and easy it is to do . . . until they try it themselves.

I bet when that guy first tried it, he was just like all the rest of us.......all over the place.

Practice, practice, practice under a skilled mentor.

The consistency of the paint must have something to do with the work he's doing. I've tried to start on a line I've run out of paint on and never had any luck.

It was interesting to read the comments below the video.

A pinstriping brush has a narrow chisel point but the upper area is quite fat and carries a lot of paint.
The sign paint I used has a lot of pigment so the red covered the black very well.

"One Shot" sign painters enamel is the bees knees, but you have to thin it to get it to flow correctly for this application.

I think that's my problem. I hadn't been thinning the paint. I have one shot and the proper sword brushes. My hacksaw and ball peen hammer and floor jack handle are all a little fancier as I was trying to learn some proficiency with the brush.
