Please explain?

Post by SteveD »

Does anyone know why the RS Motorsport was also sold as a S model in NA? Was it a B&S special order or something else? Maybe a dealer inspired conversion? Was it factory delivered this way, or was it just an owners conversion?

I may be wrong, but I think that is the Road Salt model.

Yes, the R100 Road Salt.

As per the pictures Lyman. It's a twin shock, with Ate brakes and it doesn't have a RS fairing. It does have a S fairing and dash pad setup. The R100S Motorsport had S badging etc, so I'm guessing this one had the fairing changed by a PO...but maybe there was a batch sold like this???

RT dash pad?
The orange minute hand on the clock is a mystery.
Normally, they're all white from age on a bike like that.

(but not as much a mystery as this double post)

Wrong indicator switch too.

That shit'll buff out. DAMHIK.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
