I am heading to Prague then Germany over the weekend. I do have a day of riding planned during the week long river cruise my wife has arranged along the Rhine to Luxenberg. I am so excited as it is my first time there....
What kind of BMW or motorcycle related stuff should I consider when over there that I can't get here inI the US.

I always brake in corners and think how I am going to get home if I really mess up. When I get home, I wished that I hadn't used my brakes and should have ridden a bit further.

It may be a bit too far away, but the Vorchdorf Motorrad Museum in Austria would be a must see if you can make it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/25613683@ ... 812294853/

Prague is a beautiful city. In the Old Town Square, when your eyes are up looking at the clock, keep your hand on your valuables! The pickpockets walk thru in a small wave! Check out the John Lennon wall.
A day of riding in the Faterland! Lucky you. We deserve pictures 'cause we're your friends! Please.
Start and finish points? How much time? If it's riding you're after...NO museums! NO cathedrals! NO schloss's! Ride those mountains.
In Munich, there's the BMW museum of course. It's a good tour....or this http://www.rhine-valley-vacations.com/BMW-Museum.html...only open on the first Sunday in the month (April to October) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

You must have your valuables hidden so that they can't get to them. If they go after you and you happen to notice, it won't matter, they will get your valuables anyway. They are really good. Your only defense is to scream "Pickpocket" loudly over and over. They won't get arrested, as they can't be prosecuted. They are "biologically driven to steal" and the police won't do a thing.
Don't ask how I learned this.
Have a copy of your passport in another place. Have an inside money belt that they can't get to. I always carry a dummy billfold that they can have.
I lived there.
